ASA Monitor 8 2019, Vol.83, 40-41.
At the recent annual meeting of the Chinese Association of Anesthesiologists (CAA) in Qindao City, China,Anesthesiology Editor-in-Chief Evan D. Kharasch, M.D., Ph.D., and Weidog Mi, M.D., Ph.D., President of the CAA, signed a collaborative agreement between the Association and the Journal and on behalf of ASA. The agreement is one of several international initiatives that the Journal has undertaken over the past few years to broaden its reach among authors, researchers, clinicians and readers.
Anesthesiology seeks to enhance international collaboration with the Journal, increase Journal readership and the reach of the educational content to as many Chinese anesthesiologists as possible, and to help further education in the specialty. Current initiatives include a monthly translation of the editor-in-chief podcast, a translated version of the monthly table of contents, and the posting of article highlights and visual abstracts on WeChat.
