PRACTICE MANAGEMENT 2016: Getting From Quality to Value

Physicians today find themselves in a progressively complex health care environment created by changing demographics, mechanisms of health care financing and integration of services. The increasing emphasis on the “triple aim” in health care (quality, value and patient satisfaction) is having considerable impact on all physician practices. Considering the rapidity of these changes and the diverse roles and responsibilities required of physician anesthesiologists to take a broader role in patient care and, in some cases to lead patient care teams, it is challenging to know how to prepare your practice to remain relevant in your health care system.
The PRACTICE MANAGEMENT 2016 (PM) Conference, to be held January 29-31 in San Diego, is designed to help attendees demonstrate that quality in anesthesia care will generate value to patients, health care facilities, payers and anesthesia groups (www.asahq.org/meetings/practice-management-2016).
