Plans are coming together for the 2018 Spring Meeting of the Anesthesia History Association (AHA), to be held in Montana.
Attendees can anticipate excellent airline connections into Montana’s busiest airport, the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport. The meeting will be held 60 miles (one hour) from the Bozeman airport, in the heart of Montana’s Paradise Valley (featured in the 1992 film, “A River Runs Through It”). The meeting venue, Chico Hot Springs Resort, is a Montana tradition established in 1900 and is on the National Register of Historic Places (www.chicohotsprings.com). The AHA has reserved a number of conventional hotel rooms, but attendees are also free to choose from a wide selection of available accommodations ranging from small private cabins to very affordable shared-bathrooms. Meals during the meeting will be prepared by the award-winning Chico Dining Room, widely regarded as one of the finest restaurants in the state. The resort enjoys naturally heated geothermal spring water that is used to fill two unchlorinated open-air mineral water swimming pools. A full-service spa complements a variety of other available leisure activities. Hopes are high for some beautiful springtime weather!
