2016 ASA CROSSWALK and Relative Value Guide – Order Now!

While we are busy with the transition to ICD-10-CM/PCS, we cannot lose sight of the fact that the 2016 CPT® code set will include many new or revised codes. Additionally, some codes will be deleted or dropped from CPT. It is very important that ASA members stay up to date on these annual changes. The 2016 editions of the ASA CROSSWALK® and Relative Value Guide® will help you make sure that you properly report the anesthesia and pain medicine procedures you perform.
The members of the Committee on Economics CROSSWALK Panel meet each year to review all the changes to the CPT code set and determine the impact these changes will have on coding anesthesia care for the procedures described by new or revised CPT codes. The panel also reviews each and every suggestion received from ASA members and others who use the CROSSWALK. This user feedback is one of the reasons the CROSSWALK is so reflective of current practice. Users are encouraged to send their suggestions about specific CROSSWALK entries to us via the form found in the front of each edition. The annual review also covers areas on which we received a number of coding/billing inquiries over the course of the year, which often results in new coding comments or instructions to help clarify correct code use.
