Although education and training are part of one’s entire career, residency represents the core. Residency training and all that it encompasses provide the foundation for a lifelong career of learning, advancement and success.
It is important to build on the education, clinical and research training residency programs provide through additional research training and grants, attending scientific and subspecialty meetings, and participating in academic and activities.
This is why FAER has several programs and opportunities dedicated to residents. Our goal is to provide residents with experiences that expose them to the latest scientific knowledge, and to provide funding that supports significant training in research techniques and scientific methods.
